Harris Methodist Church

Who We Are

We, the Harris Methodist Church, are a family of God. We have generations of families that keep our ties present here, as well as visitors. With a warm, kind church atmosphere you will be greeted with smiles, welcoming handshakes, and feel as though you have always been a part of the Harris Methodist Church. We also hope that if you live in the area, you would someday consider joining our family of believers.

When you enter the Harris Methodist Church building, you will witness a solid rock of perseverance. Our current place of worship is a resurrection of the original church building, which we lost to a fire in 1915. Our existing building, built in 1918, has aged gracefully. Through the years, however, and through hard work and faithful donations, we have made updates, remodeling, and improvements.

The Harris Methodist Church is traditional in worship and spirit-filled hearts. We hope that, after reading this abbreviated description of who we are as a People, you would find some time to join us in worship and get to know us better.

Lake Park Methodist Church

Who We Are

We, the Lake Park Methodist Church, are a vibrant church on a faith-filled journey with Jesus Christ.

We would be honored to welcome you to our church home. Come and join a community who strives to grow in faith together. Our congregation is very much alive with song, worship, and activities for all ages. It is a place for those looking to connect with others and encourage one another as disciples of Christ.

The Lake Park Methodist church was established in 1883 with the first chapel built in 1892. In 2003, we moved into our new Church building to accommodate the growing church family.

“Whether you are new to the area or just visiting, we hope that you would be
able to join us in worship and get to know us a little better.”
