Junior Youth

    Middle school grades 6-8 meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month through the school year at the Lake Park church. This group will do a variety of service projects, Bible studies and fun nights.

    Senior Youth

    High school grades 9-12 meet the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month through the school year at the Lake Park church. This group will do a variety of service projects, Bible studies and fun nights.

    Confirmation

    We offer a confirmation class for youth in 8th grade or older as an exploration into the Bible and the Christian faith. This group meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday throughout the school year. Every participant will work with a mentor for guidance and support.

    Choir

    If you are a music lover please consider joining our choir. We meet every month for practice and sing for our Sunday church family multiple times during the year or on special occasions.

    Bells

    If you are a music lover please consider joining our bell choir. We meet every month for practice and play for our Sunday church family multiple times during the year or on special occasions.

    Group Bible Study

    Various bible study groups meet throughout the year for all ages.

    • Men’s Bible Study (in-person), every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall

    Sunday School Leaders

    Sunday school begins after Labor Day and will run throughout the school year. Pre-K through adult ages welcome.

    Harris Sunday school begins at 10:15 a.m. following worship.

    Lake Park Sunday school starts at 9:00 a.m. before worship.

    We also have opportunities for service in Sunday school for leaders, helpers and snack servers.

    Bible School

    We offer Vacation Bible school every summer. Harris and Lake Park alternate as the host church yearly. Every year we designate a mission project for the youth offering to support.

    All youth in the community ages PreK through 5th grade are invited to join us for fun-filled activities such as music, crafts, games and bible stories.

    Adults and Youth grades 6 and up are encouraged to participate as leaders or helpers.

    We have made the tough decision to not hold Bible School this summer.  We can’t wait to see you all again next summer in 2021!

    United Methodist Women

    Open to all women who want to get involved serving others through local and global missions. This group meets once a month.

    Missions

    We support both local and global missions. One of our goals is to organize a youth mission trip as well as send a team to Haiti every other year. Locally we support Cherish House, The Banquet, and many more.
